Wit+Whiff started in 2025 in a Kansas home studio, founded by Micah Botsford — candlemaker, wax whisperer — and her husband Mark, on the shared belief that a candle should do two things at once.

It should smell fantastic. And it should make you laugh your ass off.

Micah hand-pours every single candle in small batches using a coconut soy wax blend. Not because it's trendy, but because it burns cleaner and throws scent harder than the mass-produced mystery goo you find on an endcap. Every jar that ships out of here was poured, cured, and checked by a person whose name you now know.

Mark handles everything you can see: the branding, the label art, the design, and the ads that make your mom raise an eyebrow. Between the two of them, an unreasonable percentage of every week goes into naming these things — walking the line between clever and completely inappropriate, and occasionally sprinting straight past it.

Their two daughters serve as junior scent testers and have added their two scents to more than a few blends. It is a full-on family operation.
