Founded in 2025 by Micah Botsford (Candlemaker, wax whisperer) and her husband Mark, Wit+Whiff was born from a shared love of good smells and even better jokes. Why should candles be boring? We believe your home should smell fantastic and make you laugh your ass off.

Every candle is hand-poured by Micah in their Kansas home studio using a coconut soy blend wax, because you deserve better than mass-produced mystery goo. MIcah and Mark spend an unreasonable amount of time coming up with names that walk the line between clever and completely inappropriate — which is exactly how we like it. Mark also handles all things visual: branding, design, label art, and ads that make your mom raise an eyebrow.

Their two daughters are junior scent testers who’ve added their “two scents” to more than a few of our blends. It’s a full-on family operation, minus the HR department.

So whether you're lighting up “Mexican Black Tar Heroin” after a long day or masking your latest bathroom crime with “If The Wick Is Lit, I Just Took A Shit,” we’re here for the laughs, the vibes, and the unapologetic realness.
